Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
Rethink Corporation Ltd (trading as “Rethink Construction”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit rethink.construction or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It’s written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Rethink Corporation Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 10732066.
Registered address: Alina House, 10 Vincent Street, Liverpool, L3 5XW, United Kingdom.
For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at matthew.egan@rethink.construction. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect
We only collect personal data you choose to give us. Specifically:
- Enquiry and contact forms— when you submit a form on our site (for example a case study or project enquiry), we collect your name, email address, phone number, company website, and details of the service or project you’re asking about.
- Usage data— like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information about your visit through Google Analytics (see Cookies & Analytics below).
We do not ask for or knowingly collect any special category data (health, religion, political opinion, etc.), and our site does not process payments or require you to create an account.
How we use your data
We use the data described above only to:
- Respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it;
- Understand how visitors use our site, so we can improve it; and
- Meet our own legal and accounting obligations.
Our legal basis for processing enquiry data is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where it leads to a project, to take steps toward a contract at your request. Our legal basis for analytics cookies is your consent, given through our cookie banner.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
How your enquiry is handled
When you submit a form on our site, the details are sent directly by email to our team — they are not stored in a database on our website. From that point, your message is held in our mailbox for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation, in line with standard business record-keeping practice.
Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site — for example which pages are popular and how people found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and the pages you visit. This information is processed by Google on our behalf; you can read Google’s own privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies won’t affect your ability to use the site, though we won’t be able to see anonymised usage statistics for your visit.
Who we share data with
We only share personal data with the small number of service providers who help us run this site and our business, specifically:
- Google (Analytics), to understand site usage;
- Our email and hosting providers, purely to deliver enquiry emails and host the site; and
- Regulators, law enforcement or professional advisers where we are legally required to.
We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
International transfers
Some of the service providers we use (such as Google) may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on their compliance with recognised safeguards, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent adequacy decisions.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- Ask us to delete your data, where there’s no good reason for us to keep it;
- Object to or restrict how we use your data; and
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (such as analytics cookies).
To exercise any of these rights, email matthew.egan@rethink.construction. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Children's privacy
Our site and services are intended for construction, manufacturing and related industry professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we add a new form to the site or change service providers. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
